Hallprint's plastic tipped dart tag applicators are manufactured from the highest quality industrial stainless steel available. Three differing diameters are available. The smallest diameter applicator is for use on the "extra small" sized dart tags only (type PDX). The next largest diameter applicator is designed for the three "small" diameter dart tags ie the PDS, PDL and PDW. The largest diameter applicator is designed for the large plastic tipped dart tags (PDA) only.
These applicators can either be used alone or attached to a dowell handle. A "chuck" style handle for interchangeable screwdrivers available from most hardware stores is handy for applying pre-loaded applicators on high volume tagging operations.

Our stainless steel dart tag (SSD) applicators are designed specifically to accommodate our SSD tag heads and are available only in the one standard size. These should be embedded into a dowel tagging pole as per the section on stainless steel dart tags.

T-bar tag applicators (TBF, TBA)
Hallprint supplies and recommends only two tagging guns for use with fne anchor T-bar tags and standard anchor T-bar tags respectively. These are the Avery Dennison 10312 fine fabric tag applicator for fine anchor or TBF tags and the 08958 "Tagfast III" tag applicator for standard anchor or TBA tags. While cheaper applicators are available on the market that will work with these tag types, the models mentioned have demonstrated the best track record in terms of functioning wthout failiure in the marine environment.
